What is Snappy Measure?

Snappy Measure gives you approximate measurements of real-world objects using your iPhone’s camera. Point it at something, scan, and you have a number — no tape measure, and no placing endpoints by hand.

Every measurement is an estimate. Other measuring apps ask you to mark each corner individually in pursuit of precision; Snappy Measure skips those steps, so you get a usable figure in far less time. It works the same way whether the subject is small or large — measurements on a shirt, or the length and width of a room.

Use it when you need a close-enough answer quickly. For exact figures — cutting material, anything with real tolerances — reach for a tape measure.

The app’s technology needs texture and light to track a surface. Measuring in dim rooms, against blank walls, or on glossy and transparent surfaces reduces accuracy. Move the phone slowly to let tracking settle before placing points, and re-measure if the on-screen confidence reads low.

The camera view is black, or the app asks for the camera repeatedly.

Snappy Measure needs camera access to measure at all. Check Settings → Snappy Measure → Camera on your iPhone. If it was previously denied, enabling it there and reopening the app resolves it.

I bought the ad-free unlock but still see ads.

Open the unlock screen and choose Restore Purchases. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account, so it follows you across reinstalls and new devices. If it still doesn’t restore, email us with the Apple Account email used for the purchase.

Which devices are supported?

Snappy Measure requires a compatible iPhone running a current version of iOS. Newer devices with LiDAR generally track faster and hold measurements more steadily.

How do I stop seeing personalized ads?

You can decline tracking when the app first asks, or change it any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone. Declining does not limit any measuring feature — you’ll simply see less relevant ads.
